What kind of boat will we be renting?
Lake Tahoe Boat & Ski rents clean 20’ Fourwinns or comparable ski boats.  The boats are equipped with Volvo Penta V8 engines with plenty of power to pull skiers and tubes.

How many people are allowed on the boat?
Our boats have a maximum capacity of seven individuals.  However, a total of five people is recommended if pulling water skiers or tubes.

What about life jackets?
Lake Tahoe Boat & Ski provides life jackets for both adults and children.  Our boats are equipped with __ adult and __ children life jackets.  If additional life jackets are required, please specify the number of adult and children life jackets needed when making the reservation.

What about gas?
The boat will be provided to you with a full tank of gas.  You are responsible for returning the boat with a full tank of gas at the end of the rental period.  There is a service station conveniently located at the Tahoe City Marina.

What about insurance?
Lake Tahoe Boat & Ski is fully insured to give you peace of mind during your boating excursion!

What if I am a novice boater?
Our staff will help familiarize you with our boat and its controls.  Should you require further assistance, Lake Tahoe Boat & Ski can provide a captain to drive the boat for you during your rental!  Please send inquiries to info@laketahoeboatandski.com before making your reservation to confirm availability.

What is the reservation/cancellation policy?
A $150 deposit is required to reserve one of our boats.  Cancellations made more than two weeks prior to the rental date will be refunded the full deposit.  We apologize, but rebooking costs and time limitations negate our ability to refund deposits for cancellations made less than two weeks prior to the rental date.
